HAIL: Here's the kind of man he is
I do not live in Post Falls and cannot vote in the Post Falls City Council elections. Still, I wanted the voters there to know what I know about one of the candidates for City Council seat No. 2.
Through the Big Brothers Big Sisters organization, Jim Hail was a Big Brother for my son. Though Jim was barely an adult when he and my son were matched, Jim took the responsibility very seriously and consistently played an active role in my son’s life over more than a decade, even for the period when Jim was away at college. Jim planned and consistently followed through on countless fun activities, had a friendly ear when my son needed a guy to talk to and still checks in to see how things are going, though my son is now an adult and they are no longer technically matched.
I know Jim is guided by a genuine interest in helping others and making things better in his community. He is well-educated, intelligent, and deliberative and has vision for the long term. He has a great business sense and is energetic and conscientious in all his endeavors. My son is a better person for having had Jim’s influence and caring in his life and I know Post Falls would benefit greatly by having Jim Hail in the Post Falls City Council seat No. 2.
