SHUTDOWN: Let's take U.S. back

Our federal government was trying to make the federal problems our own personal problems re: Closing federal parks, our heritage and our recreation, etc. Some of the states stepped up to the plate and paid to keep these inherited rights open to us, the taxpaying public. Maybe now is the time for all the states to take full responsibility.

Take back our rights, and take back control of our sovereign territory, as pointed out in the constitution of this great country. Idaho knows more about Idaho, its logging, mining, our natural resources and recreation than the Feds do. Don’t let them close and lock us out. Give it back to us. Now is the time and the circumstances to get our great country back under the states’ control. Write, plead and convince our legislators to act while the iron is hot.
