WIDMYER: Spirit of cooperation key

I have known Steve Widmyer for 25 years. During this time, I had the pleasure of working with him for 15 years.

Steve is an honest, trustworthy and hardworking individual. Having raised four beautiful children who are outstanding citizens speaks to his character.

What this city needs is leadership, not the kind that is based on the Dan Gookin style, but one that puts openness, consideration and a desire to work together to get things done first. Dan Gookin introduced Mary Souza’s candidacy because he wants more of the same combative and personal attacking meetings, that have been experienced since he joined the council. If this is what you want, then vote for Mary Souza. If instead you want a leader focused on working together to get things done, then vote for Steve Widmyer.
