Washington couple, married for 68 years, dies in car crash

CHATTAROY, Wash. (AP) - A Washington state couple who had been married for 68 years died together in a two-vehicle collision on Sunday in Spokane County.

KREM reports that 92-year-old FloydNordhagen and 88-year-old Margaret Nordhagen died when they pulled out in front of an oncoming pickup truck. The passengers of the truck were not seriously injured.

KREM reports that the couple had lived in the Chattaroy area for 45 years.

The couple leaves behind four children, 11 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
