POLITICS: Don't you dare judge
Doug Miller you are correct in saying you did no research. I am, in my opinion a liberal Democrat. I believe in live and let live, make your own choices as long as they don’t physically hurt others, vote for whom you choose, just get out and vote, work hard, play hard and enjoy your life.
I grew up in the Coeur d’Alene area in the ‘80s, and had friends of all political parties, and income levels ranging from $5,000-$500,000 a year. I myself lived with a hardworking single mom, and saw my dad on the weekends; he also always worked. We did not receive food stamps or welfare of any kind.
My parents always did their best and their houses were always clean. My mother is over 80 and just finished the fourth bedroom in her house herself. I graduated high school, but did not go to college. Instead I chose to raise my two nephews who needed the help.
My husband and I have been married nearly 25 years. We raised my nephews as our own, and three more of our own, and he works 40-70 hours a week. I worked so hard up until the last two years that I damaged all the nerves in my forearms and have had six surgeries to date, more to come. No welfare! I also volunteer 1-8 hours a week in 4-H.
Don’t judge others by how often they dust, who they marry, or who they vote for, but for their attitudes.
