VETERANS: Hayden made our day

We, the members of the Combat Vet Riders, want to express our gratitude and thanks to the City of Hayden and the community at large for helping make our annual “Fill the Helmet” Veterans Day Fund Drive a huge success. The people who donated gave from the heart for a great cause. Those who were unable to donate still offered a tremendous amount of gratitude and encouragement, which was very much appreciated. It speaks volumes to the kind of people who call North Idaho home. Additionally, the generous amount of waves and smiles made the cold morning of November 9th fun for us.

As a native North Idahoan, and a vet, I’m proud of the community from which I came and truly appreciate the outpouring of support shown that day. Freedom isn’t free, and though most of us vets do not wear a uniform anymore, there are many who do. The support given to the Combat Vet Riders will help us help past, present and future veterans.

THANK YOU Hayden and surrounding communities. We hope to continue to build and maintain a fantastic relationship.
