HAYDEN: See it in all its glory

I’ve always known that Hayden is a great place to live, work and raise children. I’ve lived here for more than 30 years and can’t imagine living anyplace else. So why did I just now notice the flags lining both sides of Government Way? Maybe it’s because I tend to use side streets to get to where I want to go most of the time, but the other night I found myself turning north on Government Way at Prairie Avenue. The sight of those flags for as far as I could see was absolutely beautiful! It reminded me how fortunate we really are to live in a country where we are free, and live in a community that cares enough to honor that right.

If you get the chance, take a drive or stroll along Government Way in Hayden at night … you won’t be disappointed with what you see.
