CONGRESS: Hear the people now

I would like to comment on Russ DeVerniero’s “My Turn” that was published in The Press on Nov. 5: Right on! Whatever happened to citizens representing their fellow citizens? Why should anyone in public office be treated differently (better?) than his constituents?

 I think his “Congressional Reform Act of 2013” is right, fair and proper. Could I get a comment from ANY politician in support of preferential treatment? All of those in Congress (and other offices) can only appreciate and evaluate their work if they must live under its effects as well. Thanks for passing this on, Russ. Did you forward it to our worthy members of Congress as well?
