ABORTION: Role of a father

The classic pro-abortion male! John Gillmore, letter on Oct. 23, chastised Mary Budd for her pro-life stance, using himself as an example. Bad mistake, John, bad mistake.

He claims to have “three great kids,” but would have had seven more if the mother(s) had not aborted them. News break, John: You’re still the father of those seven — it’s just that you’re the father of seven dead babies — that YOU caused. No wonder you’re pro-abortion; seven times you got to simply walk away from your responsibilities and let the girls do the dirty work. I wonder if they lived through the abortions or how they’ve suffered for decades, knowing they killed their own (and your) children. Do your three live children know what you did to their brothers and sisters? Do you plan to tell them?

As for Mary’s passing judgment on you: She was merely telling you what God’s opinion is. Your argument is not with her — it’s with Him and it’s going to be a very, very short argument. You would do well to break out the Good Book and look up “repentance.”
