TROJANS: Cheers to team, coaches
“It takes a village.” We as a society have heard this over and over again. That it takes a village to bring up children in today’s world. I am writing this letter following the very successful season of the Post Falls Varsity Football Program.
Post Falls Head Football Coach, Jeff Hinz, and his staff this year and in years past has done an excellent job in not only coaching our sons, but also preparing them as leaders to be in our community. In this day and age where the negativity in youth sports is reported as an almost daily occurrence, Coach Hinz and his staff have taught the young men within his program to “Do the right thing.” This staff includes the assistant coaches, trainers, water girls, film staff preps, cheerleaders, and all those who make this program work.
I am proud of the Post Falls Football Program and what it represents. The football coaching staff at Post Falls is second to none, and something special is being born under the watchful eyes of its coaching staff.
The young men involved with the Post Falls High School Football Program are held to a higher standard. They are role models in our community for the younger boys who someday hope to follow in their footsteps. I believe Coach Hinz and his staff, are doing it the right way. They are teaching life lessons while teaching them what it takes to succeed on and off the field of play.
The up and coming Post Falls Junior Tackle players look up to the high school football players and for good reason. That is because it is being done the correct way in the Post Falls Football Program.
My son would not play anywhere else, nor would he play for any other coaching staff.
I am happy and proud that my two youngest sons cannot wait to be involved with the Post Falls Football Program. The Post Falls community should be proud of its high school football program and should also be very thankful to Jeff and his coaching staff.
On a side note and none less important, I want to extend my thanks to the parents and relatives of the players at the PFHS Football Program. You have also made many untold number(s) of personal and family sacrifices in helping your sons play football. Your presence in the grandstands on Friday and Thursday nights do not go unnoticed as these young men cannot play and succeed without your financial, moral and personal support.
From a very proud parent, thank you Coach Jeff Hinz and your football staff. You are doing it the right way for the right reasons. In this day and age it’s refreshing.
I sincerely hope this letter conveys how proud of the PFHS Football Program I am, and how much I appreciate the hard work Coach Hinz and his staff put into this season.
