LAWSUIT: Big bucks for tears
Regarding the latest ambulance chasing incident involving the Bryntesen family. To begin with the police did nothing wrong. They handled the reported stolen car situation correctly. Folks, you cannot pick up a newspaper today without reading a story similar to this one only ending in a major shootout with some armed felon. However, this family was returning home to attend a bible study class.
As the original story is told, the car agency loaned this family one of their vehicles while their vehicle was awaiting parts. Obviously someone at the dealership mistakenly reported the vehicle stolen. Remember, things happen in life. Also recall that some people are good Christians until the possibility of making some fast bucks arises. We all know that there is always a member, in good standing, of the Gloria Allred School of Ambulance Chasing Society waiting out there somewhere. Have little doubt that this case will not go to trial. In some back legal office or in a dark hallway of some courthouse a deal will be made and lots of cash will change hands. C’mon, can it get any better than to have this stuff unfold in front of a bible study class? When their next bible study class is convened, I would suggest discussing the bible’s handling of one Christian suing another over money. While there were no injuries, there was a lot of crying and that could really up the dollar amount.
In conclusion, I suggest to reporter Keith Cousins, have a cameraman with him in any future courtroom drama when the Bryntesen family attorney arrives in one of Gloria’s rental ambulances. What a photo op. There are Christians, and then there are payday Christians.
