ARCHES: A very good neighbor

Dr. Granier couldn’t be more wrong about McDonald’s. More that 80 percent of McDonald’s restaurants are franchised to men and women who live in the communities in which they do business. This beautiful new building, located in Riverstone, is designed with modern, energy efficient equipment, LED lighting, and furnished with locally relevant decor.

Our menu includes real ingredients and wholesome choices including fresh eggs, whole grains, fresh fruits and vegetables, all-white-meat chicken and 100 percent beef.

We take pride in our support of local schools through McTeacher Nights and sponsoring local sports teams. We work with law enforcement to promote safety programs and with the local libraries to support summer reading programs. McDonald’s also works closely with the local Ronald McDonald House to provide lodging for families while their child is being treated at Spokane area hospitals.

While I am not the franchisee of this particular site, I know this family. They work every day to be a part of their communities and have been for more than 40 years.
