Yes, there's stuff to do

| May 31, 2013 9:00 PM

Kiss May goodbye.

And summer a warm welcome.

With a gorgeous opening weekend in June now before us, this seems the perfect time to suggest things for you, your family and your guests to do this summer.

Heck, let's make it 101 things to do.

Inside today's paper you'll find a freshly minted copy of Discover Silverwood and 100 other things to do in North Idaho. Sure, it's a long title, but what do you expect? There's 101 things in it.

While "101 Things to Do" is an annual Press project, this one is different. We wandered a little farther and a little deeper than ever before to recommend fun things to do, mostly in the summer but also the rest of the year.

For the first time, we've delivered recommendations in categories like special events, great bike rides, things just for kids to do, ways to enjoy Lake Coeur d'Alene, attractions worth paying for and fun things to do that don't cost a cent.

Want to know where the heck to launch your boat now that the Third Street launch is shut for summer? This magazine will tell you. Want to take your visitors to a museum? How about 12 of them? They're listed in this magazine.

It's our intent that you go through Discover Silverwood and 100 other things first, then set it someplace handy for quick reference. As most North Idahoans know, there's no limit to what you can do around here in the summer. The problem is narrowing down all the choices.

That's what we've tried to help you do.
