Kootenai County Sheriff

Tuesday

9:15 a.m.: Two John Deere batteries and power tools with a total value of $2,600 were reported stolen from vehicles parked at the open rock pit at South Rew Road and West Stringham Road near Worley.

Friday

10:08 a.m.: Damages of $450 were reportedly done to a door and the cash register at a business located in the 300 block of West Honeysuckle Avenue in Hayden. Cash totaling $450 was reported stolen from the cash register.

2:39 p.m.: Damages of $5,000 were reportedly done to the engine of a 2008 Dodge diesel pickup parked in the driveway of a residence in the 4400 block of East Aspen Way near Post Falls.

Sunday

6:11 p.m.: A pistol, an Apple iPod, several ignition keys and other items with a total value of about $1,000 were reported stolen from an apartment inside a shop building in the 1000 block of South Meyers Hill Road near Coeur d'Alene.
