Johnson replacing Grabenstein at Coeur d'Alene Homes

The Board of Directors of Coeur d'Alene Homes and its sister facility, Heritage Place, has recently named a new Executive Director/Administrator for their senior living campus.

Ann Johnson will replace the retiring Mike Grabenstein, who will be leaving the nonprofit June 30 after 13 years of exemplary service.

"I'm humbled and honored to accept the board's offer to lead this amazing senior living campus," Johnson said. "I've served as director of development and marketing for nearly five years and believe deeply in the vital mission we provide to seniors and their families. I'm looking forward to serving our community and our affiliated churches through this position."

Grabenstein said Johnson will "bring the passion that only comes from someone who understands who we are and what we do. She was the perfect choice to lead our incredible staff and I'm pleased the Board saw her value, too."

Since 1921, Coeur d'Alene Homes has served North Idaho by providing a faith-based home for older adults. Under the umbrella of 23 sponsoring churches in our area, it is the only nonprofit facility of its kind in the Inland Northwest.

Cunningham invited to Leader-to-Leader builder forum

Dennis Cunningham, president of ActiveWest Builders in Coeur d'Alene, has been invited to attend the Leader-to-Leader Forum June 3-4 in San Diego.

The 15th annual event is an invitation-only, executive-level summit for the industry's senior leadership to exchange ideas in a private, relaxed setting that fosters candid discussion and dialogue.

The mission of the forum is to create a venue where homebuilding's leadership can exchange ideas that will help advance the industry.

The forum is offered in conjunction with the Pacific Coast Builders Conference.

Cunningham will attend the conference as well as the 50th annual Gold Nugget Awards that recognizes those who improve communities through exceptional concepts in design, planning and development.
