Gerald A. Sheldon, 80

Gerald Sheldon (Jerry), loving husband, father and brother, passed away peacefully at home on May 19, 2013. Jerry was born Feb. 15, 1933, in Bonners Ferry.

He is survived by his wife, Sally; their son, Mark; their daughter, Kim; their daughter, Teresa and her husband Mark Lay; their grandchildren, Anna and her husband Jared Dingel, Kari, Jhontiel and her husband Robert Morriss, Mark, Elizabeth, Eric, Sarah, Kathryn and Zechariah; great-grandson, Arjay; his brother, Dennis and Dennis’s wife Anita; his sister, Betty Mills; his sister, Anita and her husband Jack Sneddon; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by parents, Allan and Louise Sheldon (Bonners Ferry); son Kirk Sheldon; daughter Karen Sheldon and granddaughter Stephenie Lay.

The family wishes to thank the medical professionals who cared for Jerry and the staff of Hospice of North Idaho.

A memorial Mass will be held at 9 a.m. Wednesday, May 29, 2013, at St. George’s Catholic Church, 2010 North Lucas St., Post Falls.
