Allan M. Finnegan (Lanny), 66

| May 20, 2013 3:34 PM

Allan Michael Finnegan passed away on May 19, 2013. Two very special people were with “Lanny” during his last days. His favorite nephew Don Flannery and his longtime buddy, Henry Davidson. Along with Idaho friends, Nancy Trovillo, Doug Buswell and neighbor Mark Beatty. Don is from Connecticut and Henry is from Califorinia.

Allan was born in Queens, N.Y., appropriately on Halloween eve in 1946. He was the son of John and Kathryn Finnegan.

He is survived by a sister, Kay Flannery of Rocky Hill, Conn.; and brothers, Kenny of Poughkeepsie, N.Y., and Jack of Wantaugh, N.Y., and their spouses. Lanny was the happy uncle of many nieces and nephews.

Allan lived for many years in Anaheim, Calif., where he worked for Otis Elevator Co. and later for U.S. Elevator Co.

Special thanks due to the Doctors and staff of Kootenai Medical Center who helped him through his long treatments with their patience and kindness. Thankfully his last days were spent in the care of North Idaho Hospice. Please visit Lanny’s memorial and sign his online guest book at www.yatesfuneralhomes.com.
