PAPPAS: The sandwich is on me

Well I’ll be a pork eatin’ frog turd. I honestly would have never believed that I would get such gracious and respectful responses to my recent “My Turn” opinion. I must admit, it warms my heart to realize that even though we may strongly differ on some issues, we can certainly be more respectful and civil toward each other. Oh yes, it’s never too late to learn a humbling lesson. First and foremost, I want to thank both Paul Ciruso and Phil Membury for your kind words. Hey Paul, that Iron Horse Hot Beef is on me anytime. And oh, I do agree with you on exceptions to abortion for incest, rape and health of the mother.

Now Phil, I do not want you to be left out. So If you are not too frightened to dine with the enemy, you can come too, and gang up on me with Paul. Don’t worry Phil, I absolutely do know how committed you are to your positions, and I promise to respect them more in the future.

While we will probably never come to agreement on some issues, it would be both an honor and a pleasure to break bread with you both.
