SCHOOLS: Don't be bullied, voters

| May 18, 2013 9:00 PM

The supporters of the Balance North Idaho school board candidates have been engaging in intimidating tactics. They have solicited donations using media links to their opponents’ names. This unethical practice of making money using their opponents’ good names may well be illegal.

These same people distort charitable donations to worthy education causes. They villainize those who choose to send their students to private Christian Schools or dare home school. They have published the names of children of parents associated with their opponent’s campaign.

The claim of racism is used if nothing else can be found in a good person’s past history. Coeur d’Alene has seen enough intimidation and bullying in city elections by the power players. Do not be deceived. The power players that make up Balance North Idaho are attempting to regain the school board and eventually the city council seats, and they do not seem to care who they hurt in the process. Does this sound familiar?
