Anna Mae Walson, 86

Anna Mae Walson, 86, resident of Post Falls, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 14, 2013.

She was born Aug. 5, 1926, in Lusk, Wyo., to William Charles Tadewald and Mary Catherine (Schirk). On May 22, 1946, she married Donald Walson in Torrington, Wyo. Four days after the wedding they moved to North Idaho.

She was a member of St. George’s Catholic Church and enjoyed many hobbies such as bowling, knitting, crocheting, and canning and preserving food.

She is survived by her children, Virginia, Michael, Beverly, Bernadine, Pauline, Stephen and Theresa, and families; 23 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years.

Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, May 20, 2013, at English Funeral Chapel, 1700 N. Spokane St., Post Falls.
