NEMEC: The best shepherd
For almost 30 years, I have had the distinct privilege of working alongside Dr. Neil Nemec. He is a superb physician and an astute businessman, and has consistently placed the welfare of his patients at the top of his priorities. He is an expert in direct patient care, fully understanding the clinical aspects of a hospital. In addition, his years as a full-time medical director in an insurance company and as the president of North Idaho Family Physicians make him one of the most knowledgeable individuals in the region about the business of medicine. He is immensely more qualified to help direct Kootenai Health than any candidate making his or her first foray into this very complicated and crucial field.
It has been one of the greatest fortunes in my life to have been able to practice with and learn from Dr. Nemec, and to trust him on many occasions with the care of my own patients and family. Our region will be very fortunate indeed if he is elected to serve as a trustee of our local hospital.
No one is better suited to help shepherd Kootenai Health through the next several years of radical change in our health care system, guaranteeing that patients and citizens are treated fairly. I urge everyone to vote for him on May 21.
