Cd'A Homes welcomes new board members
Bobbi Rollins and Dr. David Wold were recently elected to the board of directors of Coeur d'Alene Homes Assisted Living and Memory Care. The nonprofit's board is made up of members from the 23 churches who sponsor the organization.
Rollins was raised in Weiser, Idaho, and attended the University of Idaho. She managed her parents' business, Sterling Codifiers, Inc. and became owner and president in 1975. Her son, Rob, now owns the business while Rollins enjoys giving back to the community.
"I have been involved in various nonprofit organizations," explains Rollins, "and I'm looking forward to joining the board of Coeur d'Alene Homes. I'm honored to serve a vital community like this one." Rollins has two grown children and five grandchildren. Rollins attends Episcopal Church of the Resurrection and St. Luke's Episcopal Church.
Wold was originally from Devils Lake, N.D. He graduated from the University of Washington Medical School after stops along the way at the U.S. Naval Academy, Pacific University and Seattle University. Wold entered practice in Coeur d'Alene in 1972 after training in ophthalmology at the University of Washington. He and his wife, Kristine, have five grown children and 12 grandchildren. Wold is a member of Lutheran Church of the Master.
"We're pleased to have Bobbi and David on our board," announced Mike Grabenstein, executive director of Coeur d'Alene Homes. "We are in the midst of a strategic plan for future healthcare needs and these two new members will prove to be tremendous assets as we continue to move forward. We're excited to have them join us!"
Since 1921, Coeur d'Alene Homes has served North Idaho by providing a faith-based home for older adults. In addition, its sister facility, Heritage Place, offers affordable HUD-subsidized apartments for independent seniors. Both facilities are under the umbrella of 23 sponsoring churches in our area, the only nonprofit facility of its kind in the Inland Northwest.
