Wilma 'Jean' Medlock, 77

Passed away May 13, 2013, at Hospice House of North Idaho. She was born Feb. 15, 1936, in Ben Davis, Ind., to Eva Louise Roe and Fredrick Trent.

Jean married Ralph Edward Medlock on Jan. 20, 1950. Together they had three sons. She enjoyed reading, crocheting, camp hosting and spending time with her lady friends from Real Life Ministries.

Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph; and mother and stepfather, Bill and Louise Messerschmidt. She leaves behind her sons, Randy (Wendy), John (Krisann) and Mike (Shawnee), all of Post Falls; along with many beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Jean is also survived by her sisters, Gloria, Barbara, Sue and Lydia; brother, Billy, and her very special niece, Jill Gardner.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 18, 2013, at English Funeral Chapel 1700 N. Spokane St., Post Falls. English Funeral Chapel, Post Falls, has been entrusted with the final arrangements.
