EDUCATION: An overhaul needed
Public education has become an outrageously expensive disaster, by design. America’s real enemy, a cartel of international bankers, is always looking for a way to defeat us. They noticed that labor unions were destroying entire industries, so why not put unions in the classroom to turn us into a nation of dummies? With their paid flunkies in Congress, they did it.
Fifty years ago, college students who couldn’t cut it in math, science or engineering opted for the “dummy class,” Business Administration. Today they go for education, and why not? They are guaranteed a good salary, great benefits, three months paid vacation and can’t be fired for incompetence.
Under-educated students make poor teachers who turn out under-educated students. It’s all downhill from there. I am appalled at what our kids don’t know. Sending them home with a backpack full of books and hours of homework assignments is not teaching. Real education happens in the classroom.
I got a very good education in a four-room school with four underpaid teachers and never had homework. Throwing money at the problem isn’t fixing it. We need a major overhaul. How about privately operated schools competing for students and excellence.
I have been told I would have been a good teacher but I wasted my youth defending my country in a fighter jet. Oh well!
