SCHOOLS: Senior votes for Regan

Once again we are given the privilege of being able to vote for a representative who shares our values for School Board Trustee. The race in Zone 1 is between Christa Hazel and Brent Regan.

I  strongly feel that it is very important to have a school board that wants the very best for our children’s education and honors conservative values at the same time. I believe Brent Regan is a candidate that fills that bill.

I am senior citizen and can remember back to a time when you rarely heard about political affiliation with a school board election. You voted for the person who you thought would do the best job. Of course that was a time when children in school actually learned the basics of “reading, writing and arithmetic.” If you did not receive a passing grade you did not go on to the next grade.  We were taught American history and how great our country was and is! Grade school children were not suspended for pointing a finger or pencil at someone and saying “bang.”

There is a lot of news lately about the bird flu virus in China and how it is now spreading to humans. I suggest a much more dangerous virus has been spreading in America for a few decades which has gone undetected. The virus is called, relativism and political correctness!

Brent Regan believes in the values that made America great!
