STORY: Apology is appropriate

I am writing in regard to Joan and Bill Gundlach, although there has now been a closure with this tragedy.

Your initial article stated Bill was “odd” and that the incident was “suspicious.” More correctly it should have read “reserved” and “grieving.”

I think a personal apology should be made to Bill. Your depiction was entirely inexcusable.
