HEARN: Too good to not elect
We are fortunate that Tom Hearn is a candidate for the Coeur d’Alene School District Board, Zone 5, position.
He has lived in this community for more than 25 years and has dedicated himself to improve all aspects of well-being for our children as a highly respected counselor, businessman, husband and father. He is a firm supporter of fiscal responsibility and has modeled that support as the owner of a successful business since 1986.
Tom Hearn believes in research-based, forward-thinking education policy and including parents’ and teachers’ input. His credentials include being a founding member of the “Idaho Network for Children,” acting as president for two terms and in 1985 was appointed to the Idaho Attorney General’s “Children’s Task Force” drafting child witness legislation. He is currently a member of the Coeur d’Alene School District’s Long Range Planning Commission.
His entire professional career has centered on the welfare and the quality of life for our children. He has been a consistent and powerful voice for support of teaching core curriculum requirements and always willing to investigate innovation and to collaborate with his colleagues to achieve the highest degree of success.
Our community deserves and will support Tom Hearn when he joins the school board as our representative for Zone 5. Vote on May 21 and expect the best.
