'The Weight of the Nation' to be shown for free April 9-25

HAYDEN - In celebration of National Public Health Week, April 1-7, Panhandle Health District is inviting the public to a free showing of "The Weight of the Nation," complete with free healthy smoothies and air-popped popcorn.

PHD's office in Hayden, 8500 N. Atlas Rd., will show the four-part documentary series from noon to 1 p.m., Monday through Thursday, with a different segment showing each day. PHD offices in each of the five northern counties will show parts of the series throughout April.

* April 9, 1 to 2:30 p.m., Dept. of Labor, 35 Wildcat Way in Kellogg.

* April 18, 10 to 11:30 a.m., PHD St. Maries, 137 N. Eighth.

* April 22, 1 to 2:30 p.m., at PHD Hayden,

* April 25, 10 to 11:30 a.m., at PHD Sandpoint, 1020 Michigan St.

* April 25, 1 to 2:30 p.m., at PHD Bonners Ferry, 7402 Caribou St.
