BILL: Speak out against this one

Dear editor and Idaho voters, our state Senate has just sent SB1108 to the Legislature for a vote. This bill further degrades the voters’ rights by making it, once again, more difficult to obtain signatures on a petition to put a law, passed by legislature, before the voters. Citizen groups are put at a greater disadvantage with this bill and it is already very difficult to get the required signatures for a referendum.

Please tell your representative that you want them to vote this bill down. Some of them will not like this, as they feel voters aren’t informed enough to make correct decisions concerning the laws they pass. Let’s tell them that we do pay attention to what they are up to. Vote no on this bill.
