GUNS: Let reason guide decisions

Michael Moore has proposed that pictures of the dead children in the Connecticut school shooting be shown to the public in order to “strike down” the Second Amendment and bring the NRA to its knees.

Mr. Moore has made movies which have been able to sway emotions, but this isn’t the way to change the Constitution. In addition to that being a very cruel thing to do to the grieving relatives and friends of these children, it simply will not work!

So far, most of the liberal anti-gun suggestions have been simply naive, probably made by well meaning people. But this idea is from a wealthy and arrogant man who has let his ego and emotions rule over his good sense. He is assuming that he has more power than he actually does.

There is a process for changing the Constitution. It’s Article V. Making a cruel and emotionally charged movie just doesn’t do it!
