Bill R. Adams, 79, passed away in Coeur d’Alene on Thursday, March 14, 2013.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 20, 2013 in St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Coeur d’Alene. Interment will be in Pinecrest Memorial Park, Sandpoint.

Bill was born in Islip, N.Y. on Dec. 21, 1933. He graduated from high school in Bay Shore, N.Y., later attending the State University of New York in Farmingdale, N.Y. He studied aircraft operations. He served with the U.S. Army from 1954 until 1956,

In 1958 he went to work for the state of New York, retiring in 1989 as a child care supervisor. Following retirement he moved to Vermont and then to Coeur d’Alene in 1994. He was a member of the St Luke's Episcopal Church. His hobbies included reading, hunting and fishing, boating and swimming.

He is survived by his son John W. Adams in Arizona.

He was preceded in death by his parents Alford and Audrey Adams and his aunt Alice R. Beach.
