LEGAL NOTICE OF DECISION LOWER PRIEST PROJECT ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT On March 14, 2013, Mary Farnsworth, Forest Supervisor for the Idaho Panhandle National Forests and Responsible Official, signed a Decision Notice and Finding of No Significant Impact for the Lower Priest project. The decision is to implement Alternative B, which includes vegetation treatments, fuels treatments, and road work in the Lower Priest project area, located in Sections (or portions of) 6, 7, 18, 19, and 20, T58N, R4W and Sections 11, 12, 14, and 24, T58N, R5W of the Boise Meridian. The Decision Notice, as well as supporting documents, can be found on the Idaho Panhandle National Forests (IPNF) public website at: http://fs.usda.gov/goto/ipnf/projects. This decision is subject to appeal pursuant to 36 CFR 215.11. A written appeal must be submitted within 45 days following the publication date of the legal notice of this decision. It is the responsibility of the appellant to ensure their appeal is received in a timely manner. The publication date of the legal notice of the decision in the newspaper of record is the exclusive means for calculating the time to file an appeal. Appellants should not rely on date or timeframe information provided by any other source. Individuals or organizations who submitted comments during the comment period may appeal.
