TREE: Keep it safe and sound

I am responding to the city of Cd’A wanting to cut down our very special FREEDOM TREE! I am VERY upset by your actions to just chop down this monumental tree! I was a sophomore at Cd’A High School when Fred McMurray returned to his home town from being a POW. We had a big dedication to the Freedom Tree with that homecoming. This was a very emotional event for myself, a young person, along with many others, I am sure! I remember it well!

You might as well face Fred McMurray and slap him ... so disrespectful! He IS our hometown hero... we need to treat him like one! Mr. McMurray is just humbling asking for a piece of the tree for his mantle!

WRONG! Shame on you city of Cd’A! He deserves more!
