SENATORS: Not keen on our two
I was not at your Lincoln Day Dinner this year, but read about it in the paper. I am a very conservative person and have something to say about both of our senators in Idaho.
First I have watched them vote and how they vote on bills that come to the floor of the Senate. They both took the oath of office to follow the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. I have copies of both and have read them several times.
I have watched them both vote for bills that are unconstitutional and against the Bill of Rights. For example, one of the Bills for Homeland Security that allows people to come into your home and arrest you for no reason whatsoever. Another example is the use of the TSA in airports that infringe upon our rights. Airport security should be done by the airlines and not the government at each airport. There are lots of other bills they have voted for.
I can tell you this; I will never vote for either senator again. We need statesmen in office who are willing to go to Washington, follow the Constitution and Bill of Rights whether they like them or not. All senators and congressmen should go to Washington for no more than two terms and then go home to their regular employment and not become career politicians.
