DOCTORS: Another one hits the trail

Dr. Brian Samuels of the Post Falls Cancer Center will be gone today. And he is not the first. Why have FIVE doctors at the cancer center recently “not had their contracts renewed”? Why are we led to believe their leaving is voluntary? Why has only one replacement doctor been hired who won’t start until a month after the last doctor leaves? What is going on?

Losing Dr. Samuels is a great loss not only to myself, but to our community. He is a nationally recognized leading expert in certain types of cancer, a very thorough and caring practitioner. I have lost confidence in Kootenai Health and their “vision” for the cancer center.
