Daniel Phillip Slagle

Daniel Phillip Slagle, of the Tellico Village Community, Loudon, passed away Thursday, March 14, 2013. He was born in Minnesota and raised in Glen Ellyn, Ill.

Dan attended the University of Illinois and was a graduate of Michigan State University. He served in the Naval Reserve and retired from Continental Can Company.

Preceded in death by his parents, Wilbur and Karen Slagle. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Sharon Slagle; children and spouses, Elizabeth and Brian O’Shea, Patricia and Angus Murray, and Eric Slagle; grandchildren, Madeline and Anne O’Shea, Cooper and Regan Murray.
