SEQUESTER: No, cuts aren't evil

The Democrats/liberals can not think beyond “tax and spend” economics. Their guiding philosophy seems to be “All Power to the Government” and they can not understand nor sympathize with the free enterprise system.

Our current financial problems come from excessive governmental spending and the tax burdens imposed on us to pay for that spending. This crisis was inevitable.

So long as the Democrats hold power, and so long as they win votes by their big spending programs, we can expect to be in debt and to have financial problems. It is only when our taxes have been reduced and individual initiative is encouraged that we will be able to enjoy economic security.

The path to prosperity is to be found in freedom and marketplace checks and balances, not in the heavy-handed regulation of our society by the government. Let the spending cuts stay.
