Boise man arrested in motel death
BOISE (AP) - Boise police say they've arrested a man in connection with the death of a woman at a local motel.
Police found the body of a middle-aged woman at the Cabana Inn when they responded to a disturbance report Tuesday morning.
The department later announced in a press release that they found a 55-year-old man in the area and arrested him after finding evidence that he may have been responsible for the woman's death.
The press release said the man was expected to be arraigned on a first-degree murder charge Wednesday. The Associated Press generally does not name suspects until they are charged with a crime.
The woman's name has not yet been released, but Ada County Coroner Erwin Sonnenberg said she died from blunt force trauma sustained during an assault.
