Those were the days. The Miss Spokane Hydro (later the Pay n Pak), Thriftway, etc. The N.W. had a contingent of boats. I want to volunteer and I will also purchase a ticket for support. What a great way to end the summer. Send info to sign up please.

It sounds that it will be well organized and should not impose on any naysayers. Should be an economic boost for the area, increase tourism and perhaps have new businesses discover this amazing area. The roar of the hydros is incredible and exhilarating. Wait until the new generation experiences this.

Now what we need is a community sponsored boat. I got a hundred bucks to start a drive. How about some more investors and a few corporate sponsors? That is what made the races so popular in Cd’A. Spokane and Coeur d’Alene may never have Major League sports, however they can have major league Hydro Races. It took great courage for these people to invest in this endeavor. Let’s get behind them and prove that we can have a great event, civilized, orderly and great fun for all.
