Florence Marie Whitehead

Florence Marie Whitehead was born Dec. 29, 1923, the daughter of Herbert B. Frank and Esther E. “Greenwood” Frank.

Florence Whitehead is the younger of two children. She was born during the end of the Great Depression. A vibrant, loving and colorful woman Florence shined most when doing for others or dancing to a classical jazz beat. Florence raised two active children while married to the most incredible man “Otis Whitehead” for more than 50 years.

A woman of many talents, Florence Whitehead has held more than 30 executive positions including founder of the Hillyard Belles and Trainmen. The Hillyard Belles have traveled over several states while entertaining and spreading happiness to many seniors.

Florence is survived by her daughter, Diane; grandchildren, Brittany and Jason; and sister Vivian and Kin.

Her legacy has touched many people’s lives and still lives on today. Florence will be forever missed and never forgotten LOVE ALWAYS!
