MUSIC: Deserves more attention

Kudos to Mr. Jim Phillips and the Coeur d’Alene High School String & Chamber Orchestras, the Symphonic Band, and the Wind Ensemble for a delightful and well presented concert on May 22. As a former oboe player, I know how much practice and dedication it takes to prepare for concerts and competitions. I just wish that these talented musicians would receive the newspaper recognition that the high school athletes receive.
