Frank M. Marriott, 88

Frank M. Marriott, 88, of Hayden, passed away July 19, 2013, in Coeur d’Alene. He was born Jan. 5, 1925, in Compton, Calif., to Herbert and Martha Marriott.

Frank married Betty Stewart on Sept. 6, 1946, in Tonapah, Nev. In 1946 he went to work for California Electric Power and later retired with Edison Electric. Frank and Betty came to North Idaho 27 years ago from San Bernardino, Calif. Frank was a member of the LDS Church and served in most of the Dalton and Hayden wards. Frank was an avid hunter and loved to repair and restore old vehicles.

He is survived by his wife, Betty at home; son Ted from Pasadena, Calif.; daughter and son-in-law, Julie and Ron Thurman of Apple Valley, Calif.; and a sister, Martha Cranford of Lancaster, Calif. Frank is preceded in death by one sister and seven brothers.
