If you missed the Fourth of July parade, you truly missed a chance to see a slice of small town Americana. How truly uplifting it was to see all the floats and participants in the parade, and the most encouraging thing to see was the families and little kids lining Sherman Avenue to cheer on the people who celebrated the Fourth in a very unique way.
In an age when technology seems to trump everything, the public in this quiet little town put aside their differences and came to view something very old fashioned. A truly remarkable thing in this day and age…Good job Coeur d’Alene.
