FEE: Freedom sure isn't free

Just gotta say, we have lived here in this beautiful city for nine years and the Fourth of July fireworks has always been one of our favorite events. The parking situation Thursday night was a maddening, complete mess. I can’t believe the so-called free parking lots were charging $15 event parking by the Chamber of Commerce!

Families come from all over to enjoy this day, packing large amounts of food, chairs, etc. I just can’t believe these parents and children had to pay for parking, or walk miles to enjoy the day! Coeur d’Alene, you should be ashamed of yourself for making a great day into a total exhausting event! We will surely be finding another show next year to attend!
