GUNS: Abortion far more deadly

Obama cried when he heard about 20 children who were killed in the Sandy Hook massacre. He was sad that their lives had ended violently and their futures were taken from them. What about the millions of children who have been murdered in the abortion clinics throughout this land? Their lives were ended in violence and their futures have been taken from them. Is there no sympathy for them?

Obama has expressed sorrow for the families affected by this tragedy. And yet he and his liberal cohorts support abortion, homosexuality, and gay marriage. All of these actions make a mockery of the marriage institution.

They bring confusion to the concept of right and wrong and weaken the bonds of affection between a man and a woman. Will Obama show any remorse for the harm he has done to all of our families?

Obama and his liberal cohorts now turn their attention to the Second Amendment and the citizens’ right to keep and bear arms. They want to restrict gun ownership and limit military type firearms to those in government.

The incompetent, self-serving, dysfunctional government. They seem to have forgotten that it was the Minutemen and the armed citizen who helped to found this nation. They seem to forget that We the People need our guns to protect us from — the government!

The cost of liberty is dear, the cost of tyranny is even greater. If we must choose between an all-powerful central government or a society of equals then I will choose a government of the people, by the people, for the people.

And if I must submit to oppression or take a stand for freedom then I, like many of the brave patriots before me, will choose liberty and I will defend my right to keep and bear arms.
