REMARKS: Yes, they're offensive

I am writing this letter regarding the Press article on the legislative forum held in Post Falls. I found the remarks of Rep. Frank Henderson and CDA School Board Member Brent Regan offensive and totally lacking in respect for the President of the United States.

With no gun legislation passed to oppose, Frank Henderson is quoted as intending to sponsor a bill that says, “No–hell no to whatever Pres. Obama’s efforts might be.” And Brent Regan saying that gun rights are God-given. Give me a quote from the Bible that says that. Furthermore, you and your wife and members of the audience who laughed are shameful examples to hold up to our youth. Quote Mr. Regan, “They can’t figure out what an assault weapon is; it’s just black and scary.” His wife looks at him and says, “Well so is Obama.”

Shame on you!
