Joshua Timothy Means, 39

| December 31, 2013 8:30 AM

Joshua Timothy Means, 39, of Rathdrum, ID, has passed from this life to his next destination in the early morning hours of December 14 when he lost control of his car.

Josh was born April 1, 1974 at St. Joseph Hospital in Orange, California to his parents Timothy and Deborah Means. He lived in California and enjoyed surfing and going to the beach to swim, until he discovered Idaho in 1998 with its towering trees and mountains which he claimed as his new home.

Josh was very creative in wood working and art projects, and found working with his hands to be calming to his soul almost as much as playing video games and fishing with his son Gabriel.

Josh is survived by his wife Jennifer Means, and two children, Gabriel and Amelia; parents Timothy Means and Deborah Stokes, along with his in-laws Rick and Sandy Johnson of Rathdrum, ID; and his two sisters Amber Means and Jennifer Hayman.

A memorial service will be held at Yates Funeral Home, Coeur d’Alene Chapel, on January 8, 2014 at 2 p.m. All who wish to show their respects are welcome to attend.
