ACCIDENT: Great care after rollover
I hope some folks in Tensed get the CDA Press as we owe their ambulance service a huge debt of gratitude, and I have no specific names to thank. My granddaughter, her one-month-old baby boy, and I were involved in a one-car rollover accident coming from Moscow just before we got to Tensed on Dec. 24.
The ambulance service arrived and we received professional and compassionate care that no words can describe. Fortunately, we all were essentially not hurt and only needed their services until we could be rescued by her father. We also owe a big debt to three men who saw the accident, called the ambulance, checked on us, and stayed until the ambulance could arrive. Again, I have no names. They all were our angels.
A special plug for wearing seat belts and infant car seats that are installed properly and up to code. When I saw my great-grandson just crying from being woke up, I couldn’t believe how safe he had been kept (it does help to land in an open wheat field).
Thanks and gratitude are words that are totally inadequate for what we owe the wonderful people who helped us.
