JOY: Three cheers for the Brill girls
We’ve never met Mr. and Mrs. Brill, but we commend them on their parenting skills, or maybe they were just plain lucky. They raised two daughters who are making a huge difference for so many folks here in North Idaho.
Linda Rohlinger created the Books for Tots program about seven years ago to support the Toys for Tots program. Her mission has been to provide every needy child in North Idaho at least one new book at Christmas. She has succeeded in spades as kids are now getting up to three new books each Christmas. She has made life richer for literally tens of thousands of kids over the years.
Not to be outdone, her sister Laura Little has produced wonderful live shows and plays for all of us to enjoy. For the second year in a row, Laura brought Traditions of Christmas to the Kroc Center. It is a marvelous variety show for the entire family, mixing Christmas dances and songs with a tribute to our military, all wrapped in the loving message of Christ.
Thank you Mr. and Mrs. Brill for the gift of your daughters, and thank you Linda and Laura, for bringing so much laughter and joy to so many people here in God’s country.
