COLUMN: Shows senior support

Thank you Sholeh Patrick for your article on senior citizens’ role in our country. After paying 51 years into SSI, I’m dismayed that my monthly check is seen as an entitlement. It’s my money I’m drawing out.

I would love to see an article on where all the SSI money has gone to over the years. Maybe “they” wouldn’t be so quick to jump into wars if they had to pay-as-you-go to fund these endless wars, if they weren’t allowed to raid our SSI treasury. Keep up the good work!
